July 14 Junior High Hike

Time: 8:00 a.m.

We will meet at the church parking lot and drive to Red Lodge in the church bus. You will need to bring a sack lunch and plenty to drink. Wear good sturdy shoes, you may also want to bring sunscreen, bug spray, or camera. Please no pets. We will be returning to Billings late in the afternoon.

Timberline Trail (12) leads to Gertrude and Timberline Lakes, both heavily populated with trout. A steep trail at the beginning, the trail is not a serious challenge for those in good physical condition. From the top the view is spectacular with Timberline Lake nestled at the base of a plunging granite cirque.

July 27 – 28 High School Camping and Rafting Trip

We will depart from the Church late Friday afternoon and head to the Absarokee/Columbus area to camp Friday night. We will go rafting down the Stillwater River on Saturday and then head back to Billings that evening. We will have more details on the location of our campsite, what to bring and cost later.

August 17 High School and Junior High Day at Big Splash

We will be taking the Junior High and High School Youth Groups to Big Splash for a day of fun. We will depart from the church at 11:30am and will return at 7:30pm. We will have more information about cost soon.
