Pastor Elizabeth Roebke
While a Minnesotan through and through, I am excited to be living and doing ministry here in Montana for the second time. After being raised on a beautiful Minnesota lake, I attended Boston College, earning a degree in Art History in 2002.
A year as a member of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps brought me to St. Labre Indian School in Ashland, Montana and then on to seminary. I received my Masters of Divinity from Yale Divinity School in New Haven, Connecticut and my Certificate of Advanced Theological Studies from Pacific Lutheran Seminary in Berkeley, California.
I served my internship in rural Battle Lake, Minnesota and acted as pastoral assistant at my home church for five months prior to my ordination and first call here at American.
Can you tell I enjoy traveling and new places? When not seeking new adventures on the road, I can be found reading just about anything and knitting.
I feel blessed to begin my ordained ministry at such an energetic and mission minded congregation. The community has welcomed me with open arms and I am please to join them now in welcoming all to worship in our congregation.
