Pastor Elizabeth Sillerud
While a Minnesotan through and through, I am excited to be living and doing ministry here in Montana for the second time. After being raised on a beautiful Minnesota lake, I attended Boston College, earning a degree in Art History in 2002.
A year as a member of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps brought me to St. Labre Indian School in Ashland, Montana and then on to seminary. I received my Masters of Divinity from Yale Divinity School in New Haven, Connecticut and my Certificate of Advanced Theological Studies from Pacific Lutheran Seminary in Berkeley, California.
I served my internship in rural Battle Lake, Minnesota and acted as pastoral assistant at my home church for five months prior to my ordination and first call here at American.
Since moving to Billings, I have married my husband, Erik, and we welcomed a daughter Marit in September of 2013. We recently added our son, Soren, in October of 2015. With a toddler, infant, and a dog at home, life is crazy, busy, loud, and lots of fun. We are blessed to raised our family in this community of faith. We hope you join us.
