|Rochelle Buyse, Youth Education Director|
Director of Youth and Education
Greetings to everyone at ALC! My name is Rochelle Buyse, and I am so excited to announce that I am the Youth Education Director at American Lutheran. This church has been an integral part of my family for many years, and I am thrilled that I get to be part of such a wonderful organization.
My husband Jason and I grew up in Billings, and attended college at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting. Jason and I were married at ALC in 1995, and when we weren’t away at college, we always attended church services at American Lutheran. After our daughter Taylor was born in 1999, we officially became members and I got involved with the nursery and Sunday school programs. Our daughter Riley joined our family 6 years later, and was baptized at ALC during the church’s 100th birthday celebration. We enjoy spending time with each other, camping, hiking and relaxing at home.
I have been involved in the Sunday school program at American Lutheran for eight years, and have always enjoyed working with the kids in our congregation. After 15 years of working in the construction industry, I was definitely ready for a change, and working at the church seemed like it would be the perfect fit. I am so blessed and happy that I have been given the wonderful opportunity to be a part of the American Lutheran staff.
We have a great group of kids at ALC, and between Sunday school, Kid's Club, and Youth Group, we always manage to have fun and keep busy. I truly enjoy the time I get to spend with all the members of our congregation, and their children. If you have any questions regarding our education programs, or would like to volunteer for Sunday school, or vacation bible school, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
