Ladies, We NEED You Tuesdays
Do you enjoy puttering with fabrics and design, love to sew, or appreciate a place to go where you are warmly welcomed? Check us out. We meet each Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at ALC. We bring our lunch and enjoy free coffee and fellowship, while sewing for charity.
Our quilts are tied, not stitched by hand, and opportunities abound. Quilt tie-ers are always needed. We will teach you how to use a rotary cutter for accurate squares, or you are welcome to use one of our sewing machines to stitch pieces together. There is no charge. Any monies we accrue are passed on to a worthy cause. Our quilts are donated to Lutheran World Relief for shipment overseas. Many others are given to local organizations, and the best ones go the the annual quilt sale to benefit Christikon Bible Camp, or are for sale at our annual church bazaar in October.
Come when you can; leave when you must. Anyone can work here, and all are welcome. We work for the glory of God.
