Pastor Tim Tostengard

I am a native of the Upper Midwest, growing up in Sioux Falls, SD, Jamestown, ND, and then graduating from high school in St. Paul, MN. In 1984, I graduated from Augustana College in Sioux Falls with a B.A. in English. I was then off to Nebraska where I received an M.A. in English from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln in 1987. In 1991, I graduated from Luther Northwestern Theological Seminary in St. Paul. I have served as Associate Pastor at St. Mark's Lutheran in Spokane, WA and at Decorah Lutheran, Decorah, IA. In 2000, Kay and I came to serve at American in Billings. We both feel privileged to serve this mission-minded and caring congregation. We have three children: Annika, 18; Renee, 15; and Eli, 11. My hobbies include reading, skiing, golfing, gardening, and drinking a good cup of coffee.
