Thomas Martin Keesecker was born in 1956 in Ft. Knox, Kentucky. He grew up in Northern Virginia. He studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and the Catholic University School of Music in Washington, D.C.. He has been a church music director most of his professional career. Before starting at ALC he was at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Bel Air, Maryland for fifteen years. There he led a successful music ministry program involving almost two hundred people -children through adult. In 2003 he made a Celtic Music CD with a few college students who had grown up at St. Margaret. They called themselves "Maggie's Farm." In 2004 the group expanded and made another CD titled "Wild Mountain Thyme." Both CD's sold several thousand copies. Tom has choral, piano, and organ music published with Augsburg, Concordia, GIA, and Morning Star. His new anthem "Children, Let's Wait for the Baby" will be published by Choristers Guild in the summer of 2006.

Tom and Tricia have been married twenty-five years. They have three sons. Zach and Chris are in college back East. Corey is a student at Will James.

Besides all things musical, Tom loves hiking and enjoying the outdoors. He looks forward to pursuing more outdoor adventures in his new home in Montana.
